Tenmame was selected as one of the 100 famous Japanese sweets stores. There are about 4 types on the menu, including tenmame, mamekan, and tokoroten. All of them are particular about the materials◎ Purchase Tenmame. Everything is handmade in the store, delicate and delicious! Especially the brown sugar syrup and red beans were really delicious. The black sugar syrup is rich. The red beans were my favorite because they had a fluffy texture. Personally, I've never really liked tokoroten, but the tokoroten here had a nice texture and was delicious. I think people of all ages will like it, so I thought it would be a good souvenir.

Located in the back alley of Tsukiji, you can walk from Shintomicho. The raw agar made from Kozushima's agar-agar has a great flavor and is just the right amount of elasticity. Red peas, white kidney beans, black beans, red bean paste, and brown sugar syrup from Hateruma Island are all homemade. The owner is very pleasant and I want to go buy it again soon. Currently open for takeout only.

Shop of freshly made agar sweets. It's been a long time since I visited. As expected, the agar is delicious. I think it's difficult to know what's delicious about agar, which is almost tasteless in the first place, but compared to commercially available agar, you can tell immediately by its smell. I think that the agar that has no smell is just made from Amakusa (the one used in this shop is from Kozushima). After that, I think that there are individual preferences such as how to cut the hardened agar (size) and softness, but the size of the agar (mamekan) at this shop is a little large. And it's moderately soft and crunchy and delicious. It feels good that the black honey is light and less viscous. I forgot to take a picture, but the black soybean and soybean flour was also delicious! Also, you can choose vinegar soy sauce or black honey for tokoroten.
