Chuo City, Tokyo, Japan｜CAFFE CALMO

We first came to this cafe for breakfast and was very happy with their coffee (both breakfast sets were very yummy). When we enquired with the owner about buying their coffee beans, knowing we are tourist, he kindly offered for us to pick up the beans on the day we were leaving. When we went to pick up the beans on the agreed date, we realised he had came to the cafe just for us to pick up the coffee. We are home now and thoroughly enjoyed the beans carefully roasted by Caffe Calmo’s owner. Only wished we had bought more of the beans. If we visit Tokyo again, we will definitely go back to Caffe Calmo, have a chat with the friendly owner and enjoy their coffee/breakfast.

This might be some of the best coffee on the planet! The different varieties of toast are fantastic for breakfast, the coffee choices range from classic espresso drinks to innovative and artistic creations and the owner creates an friendly and relaxing atmosphere that is most hospitable. I will fondly remember this café for the rest of my life.

This café/ coffee house grinds and blends their own coffee. The interior and machinery for the grind is very stylish. The owner is friendly and knows a passable amount of english. We ate a great toast breakfast which was both tasteful and fairly priced. Recommended ☕.
