We had the morning set A (toast, ham and eggs, salad) and hot coffee. Visited on a weekday just after opening. There were about 10 customers after staying for about an hour without the first customer. The toast is as thick as 8 slices. It has a dense and chewy texture. The baked condition is light and the aroma and crispness are weak. It is painted with butter that smells a little beast. The fried egg is crispy on the white part and firm on the yolk part. The ham has a crisp texture and you can feel the umami. The salad feels a little withered and the freshness is weak. French dressing is applied. Also, ketchup is served on the side of the plate. The hot coffee had a good aroma, and it was a delicious coffee with a deep bitterness and a lingering finish after swallowing. It is one of the three major coffee shops in Ueno. I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere inside the store. The floor, the ceiling, the walls, the furnishings, everything gives off a strong gorgeousness and a retro feel. The ground level is full of commuters and tourists, but there is such an elegant space underground. The breakfast in such a space is not a special dish or drink, but it is exceptional. Weekends and lunch time are quite crowded, so if you want to go, it's better to go early on weekdays. I would like to use it again if there is an opportunity. Thank you for the meal.
