I love this kind of kissaten. I don't know why. There is just something likabley ostentatious about them. I had the morning set and a coffee and although there are cheaper places the coffee was great and the ambience relaxing. The service was polite and professional. There has to be a special mention for the cup and saucer too which I kind of wanted to take home with me.

(Oct.23) This is a long-established coffee shop near Kasuga Station on the Toei Mita Line. The interior of the store is spacious, and the ceiling features give it a Japanese-style feel, giving it a relaxing ``hermitage'' feel. We carefully brew our home-roasted coffee beans using a hand drip method. You can enjoy the deep flavor that takes advantage of the characteristics of the beans. They also seem to be proud of their pancakes. The young manager is the second generation. The middle-aged person is the assistant store manager. Our efficient service shines. This is a recommended coffee shop around here.
