I cannot recommend this place enough! The concept behind rébon is pairing delicious ice cream with coffee. Each flavor ice cream goes with a specifically curated roast/blend of coffee. We tried three combinations. All of the pairings were incredible. The coffees all had very distinct flavors that went nicely with their respective ice cream. There are other items on the menu as well, so you do not need to order the ice cream coffee pairing. The space is inside a former onsen. It's super stylish. Just be aware that you need to take off your shoes. Can't wait to come again!

Such a cool cafe! Besides the obvious selling point of formerly being a bathhouse that was renovated into a cafe, this place really cares about their coffee. They have an ice cream and coffee set which pairs a particular flavor of ice cream to a certain coffee blend. We got the blueberry and mikan varieties, and they were fantastic. They also sell single serving drip bags if you want to try the other varieties at home. Such a great experience with a fantastic interior. I’ll be back again.

This cafe is very cute and unique. It used to be a bathhouse and you can immediately tell when you enter. There are lockers to put on your umbrellas and shoes. After putting on some slippers, you can enter the cafe. While you can't enter the bathtubs, you can see remnants of the old bathhouse. The drinks were absolutely delicious. I also got the special of the day: a matcha chocolate cake. The cake was really dense and filling (in the best way of course). I highly recommend checking out this unique cafe if you get a chance. It's perfect in every way.
