Wonderful, friendly coffee shop with lunch menu hidden away in the back streets of Machiya. Fantastic atmosphere. A proper old-fashioned coffee shop with a bookcase of art (and other) books for customers' use. (Books are in Japanese.) The entire menu is good, but the Japanese-style curry is especially recommended.

Lunch set is very delicious and reasonably priced. Love the ladies running the place:)

I received a morning meal. The bread is about the thickness of 5 slices. This is a delicious bread with a good flavor and a fluffy and chewy texture. The toastiness is light and the ears are slightly crispy. The surface is evenly coated with fragrant butter. There was blueberry jam in the small plate. I've eaten buttered toast at various coffee shops, but this one was quite good. The hot coffee had a good aroma and was delicious with a deep richness and bitterness. Visited after 9 o'clock on a holiday. There were no previous customers, but after a while many regular customers came and the place suddenly became lively. The inside of the store had a very nice atmosphere where you could feel the warmth and scent of wood from all directions. It's a nice coffee shop tucked away in the back alley of a townhouse. I thought it was worth coming all the way to eat this morning. I would like to use it again when I'm nearby. Thank you for the meal.
