Great steak house nearby Kawaguchi Station. I have been here a few times and am always quenched, well nourished and in good spirits thanks to great steak house. Ambience - Nice unique style and cosy feeling. The owner and staff are very welcoming which is a sign of a well run establishment. They have mainly seated tables which I like but they do have a couple of tatami mat tables which make it harder for me to eat more, but if you like that style it is available. Starters - I always receive a small salad on arrival and they have a, maybe a Tabasco based salad dressing which is very nice!! My recommendations include the Karaage Octopus, the crab is decent as well, of course. The salmon I'd recommend but they go a little light on capers but I think that is just my personal preference. Main - I usually go for a 160g sirloin, more than enough although they do offer larger portions say 230g or 280g for what look like reasonable prices. The key is they always hit the button on medium rear. Always very juicy plus the steak sauce is next level to increase that sweet, succulent, tender beef. Drinks - The beer always seems nice and fresh so it seems A) they sell a bit of it and B) they clean things properly. Very good selection of mainly Old World wines and the staff know great matches so if you need advice you are in good hands. Also the glasses used for wine are top notch which adds to this dining experience. Clearly I am a fan of this joint, I had not been for quite a while and was reminded last night why my subconscious and stomach had been whispering やるじゃん to me each night. I recommend it if find yourself the metropolis of Kawaguchi-Shi
