APRIL 2023 Came here for late dinner and ordered the kamatama udon and also got some tempura and a piece of fried chicken. The udon was warm with a light dashi soy sauce and the raw egg mixed in added a creaminess to it; texture was perfect, not too soft or hard. Tempura was crispy and delicious, the kakiage with the red ginger was my favorite as it helped cut through the greasiness and added another dimension of flavor. Also the fried chicken was tender with a nice savory taste. There are condiments available including the shichimi spice powder, soy sauce and tempura sauce to add to your udon and tempura. Service was quick and ordering was easy, the meal was very cheap and tasty.

It's really delicious. I went to Japan for the first time that day, but such delicious udon and tempura were exactly what I wanted to eat street food. High-quality food at an affordable price in the heart of the city. You will feel that the udon has less broth, but it is by no means. I want to go again.

Delicious and cheap! The daily dipping noodles only cost NT$37! Fried food is also cheaper than in Taiwan, and a meal is less than 500 Taiwan dollars under the low exchange rate! A good choice for travelers!
