Machida, Tokyo, Japan｜Yamashita Honki Udon - Machida Station

Honestly, I enjoyed their udon so much. Sure, there are many cheaper udon shops in town but this place really takes care of the quality and originality that is fair for the price. We ordered cold udon with beef & a raw egg with soy sauce broth, and sesame & soy sauce dip cold udon with shrimp tempura. It was brilliant and especially I enjoyed the sesame sauce for udon which I never tried before with udon. The place is tidy and comfy. The service is nothing too special but it definitely isn’t unpleasant or anything.

Before I went there, I wasn't really interested in it, wondering if it was just a typical trendy restaurant with long lines, but when I went there, the Sanuki udon was delicious, and the unique cream udon was also delicious. The tempura is also very crispy, and I've already had it on repeat several times. The curry udon beef tendon was more crumbly than I expected and I liked it. I want to eat it again soon.
