The twist here? I have come to like udon noodles with a strong flavor. I can't go back to Marugame. I tried the all-you-can-eat challenge, but I was only able to get a second helping of regular half-flavored food. It was a waste of time to challenge myself to eat as much as I could with my stomach...

"All-you-can-eat udon on Wednesdays and Fridays. The customer service is very energetic." Even though it's limited to certain days of the week, I think it's quite generous to have unlimited refills of udon noodles. Naturally, if it didn't taste good, I wouldn't feel like asking for a second helping, but it was so delicious that I wanted to get another. The dish I received was curry udon, and although it wasn't quite as spicy, the bonito stock was very strong and it was very delicious. Also, the noodles were flat and had a good texture, making them easy to eat. The optional fried food is so delicious that it's hard to believe it's less than 200 yen, and for less than 1000 yen in total, you might not be as satisfied. They also lent me an apron for making curry udon, which was very helpful. I was also impressed by how energetically they were, pacing around the store in loud voices and serving customers.
