Small, but lively place. Was packed during lunch time on a Monday, but we were quickly seated. There are many curry options to choose from including a completely vegetarian one. You can choose your own spice level, rice portions, and add extra toppings for additional charges. Portions are big. Everything was delicious! If you’re looking for a good soup curry spot in Shimokitazawa, look no further!

I had a green salad and katsu spice curry. The taste was great, but the 20/100 spice level ("spicy" on the menu) was basically gravy. I managed to convey this to the staff member, who brought me a bowl of mixed chilli powder and spices which helped. Will go with 80/100 next time.

The curry menu here is extensive and delicious, and the service is great and always affable. The curry has a spicier kick than the Japanese variety, and you can choose the spice level from 1 to 100. We stay in Shinjuku, and came back a second time to Shimokitazawa just to eat the Spicy Chicken Curry a second time. Highly recommended if you are in the vincinity!
