The butter udon is very delicious. And the chicken nuggets we got as service were excellent also. Thanks a lot for this dinner.

A popular store in the Yato shopping district. I had the most popular, rich butter Kamatama, and the milky butter and pepper accent played a wonderful harmony and it was very delicious! The most popular is the delicious taste.

Delicious and chewy Sanuki udon. Since it was my first visit, I avoided the unusual menu and ordered the classic kake udon. I don't think I have to go to a udon restaurant where the kake udon is not delicious the second time, so it's a straight shot. I ordered kake udon + medium size + 3 types of tempura (chicken tempura, sweet potato tempura, lotus root tempura). As others have written, the behavior of the female floor staff is not good. After waiting for a while, there was no guidance, so I assumed I was going to sit at an empty seat, so when I tried to go to my seat, I was stopped. I thought it would be helpful if there was a notice posted asking people to wait near the entrance until the floor staff arrive. There are soy sauce, ichimi, salt, and tempura on the table. Unlike Marugame Seimen, there were no free toppings such as green onion, ginger, or ground sesame. Udon arrived in about 5 minutes after ordering. The pleasant scent of Tsuyu is clear from the beginning and stimulates your appetite. Also, when I put ginger in my mouth, a nice aroma came out of my nose, and I felt that it went well with the tsuyu. The noodles were not intentionally straight, but rather had uneven or non-flat parts, and it felt like they were purposely cut into that shape. I think they are trying to get Tsuyu to get involved with the noodles. I think the hardness and chewiness of the noodles are very important for Sanuki udon, but the hardness was a little harder than that of Marugame Seimen. However, this also gave it a nice chewy texture that left an aftertaste. The texture is so good that you can feel it on your chin even after you finish eating. I thought the noodles were delicious and was wondering what kind of flour they were made with, and then I found a flour called ``Tenchi no Megumi'' in the shop. If you look it up on the internet, you will be able to find out the production area, so you can feel very safe as a consumer. The gang on the table is called ``Oni Bikkuri Ichimi'' and it is much spicier than the regular one. Therefore, if you are a person who sprinkles a large amount of ichimi every time you eat udon, I think it is better to limit it to a small amount. Next was the tempura, which was a big hit. The lotus root tempura is supposed to be a difficult tempura to cook, but it was cooked very well and I think it went well with the kake udon. Sweet potato tempura is delicious because eating it with salt brings out the sweetness of the sweet potato inside the batter. And the one that was extremely delicious was the ``Toriten''. Marugame Seimen also has Toriten, but honestly the level is completely different. For those who come to this restaurant and are having trouble deciding on toppings, I personally find the chicken tempura so delicious that I would highly recommend it. There are many women in the store, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. I avoided the tororo and egg toppings because I thought they were expensive, but I think this was a very good restaurant where you could feel that the tempura was very unique. I don't usually expect anything from tempura at a udon restaurant, but I didn't expect to like it. I think I found a good store. Thank you for the meal. thank you very much. *Added on 2023/09/30 On the last day, there was a long line for lunch. I want you to come back to this place again. That's why I would like to point out the improvements I would like the store to make. ① Do not serve alcoholic beverages in the evening. If the customer base changes between daytime and evening, customers will not stay. If there were customers who were drinking alcohol, there was a possibility that you wouldn't be able to eat udon with peace of mind. Customers don't want to eat udon in front of loud customers or drunk people. This was the reason why I never went to the evening session. ②The store is too big I think it would have been difficult to pay the rent for a udon restaurant of that size near the station. In fact, I think more than half of the seats in the restaurant were often empty. If the store is large, it will be difficult to form a line, so the advertising effect on people walking will be drastically reduced. I felt that a slightly smaller storefront would have been a good fit. ③It is better to use a store name that you can easily read at a glance. I suspect that stores that make the pronunciation of their store name look cool probably have a weak desire for customers to remember their name. I used to think that trying to make a cool name so that people walking by could easily remember the name would only be a loss. I have written all of the above cheeky things, but all of these could have been avoided before the store opened if I had consulted with a consultant, and I have written it down in the hope that it will help the store owner make a fresh start in the future. It's sad to see a delicious restaurant leave our neighborhood, but I hope that the day will come when Ichika○ will be able to make a fresh start and serve delicious Sanuki udon to its customers. Thank you for what you have done. The last day was also delicious. Thank you for the meal. Take care.
