More Comments at Google MapBest sushi I've ever had. Highly recommend medium fatty tuna and eggplant!
Excellent sashimi with a menu that is sufficiently wide providing a good variation.
The young owner opened his own restaurant in July 2008 from Sushiya no Kanda (closed), which was part of the Kintaro Sushi chain on Tori Ekimae Dori near the north exit of Motoyawata Station. Since then, I have been using it at intervals of about 2 to 3 months. Although it's a bit far from the station, it's always busy whether it's weekdays or holidays, so if you want to use the counter, it's best to make a reservation in advance (however, reservations are not accepted for the counter on weekends and holidays). I have been using this restaurant many times since the time of the previous restaurant, and I am impressed by the energetic and cheerful atmosphere of the young staff, including the owner. This is my favorite restaurant where you can enjoy delicious sushi for around 7,000 yen while having a drink when you return to your hometown. ○Taste/cooking Like other sushi restaurants, if you order the recommended fish at that time as sashimi or sushi toppings, you will be able to eat extremely fresh fish. Generally, the sushi is small. What I particularly like about this rice is that it's so fluffy that each grain of rice falls apart in your mouth. No matter how good the toppings are, if the sushi rice is too big and hard, you'll be disappointed. Since there is a wide selection of snacks, many regular customers seem to enjoy drinking alcohol with the snacks first, and then have a light drink afterwards. Especially lately, grilled food is delicious. For the bowl, I order a soup. This is also a flavor that can only be found at a sushi restaurant, with a strong fish stock. This is also recommended. If the ara soup seems too heavy, we also recommend Hamasuke and seaweed soup, which have a strong aroma. ○Service I was impressed by the energetic service provided by the young female staff. The two chefs, including the manager, are from Akita, so they are not Akita beauties but Akita handsome men. A friendly person who is polite and easy to talk to. ○Atmosphere The store is clean and bright. The counter is always crowded with familiar customers. In addition to the counter, there is a tatami room, and if you remove the partition, I think you can host a banquet for about 20 to 30 people. There is also a horigotatsu ceremony for less than 6 people. Even if you are a first-time customer, you will be treated with courtesy, so I think you can enjoy your time at the counter with peace of mind.
