With the cold noodles, you dip them in a dipping sauce (there is no soup). By cold, it is actually really cold. I think they placed the noodles in a bowl of ice before serving them to you. If you choose the hot option, the noodles come in a bowl of broth. You can upgrade the size of rice/noodle with no extra charge. They also give you a complimentary dessert (mochi or some other Japanese dessert). The staff was really friendly. Although they do not know English, they try their best to communicate using body language and simple English words.
Great value and simple food.
Ordered Gobo Ten Udon and Gobo Ten Oroshi Bukkake. I like it because the soup stock is gentle like Udon in the west, and the noodles are thin, soft, and elegant. The gorgeous burdock tempura was also delicious! The fried asparagus was also delicious. Even though it was crowded, it seemed difficult to go around the hall alone, but even though it was almost full and only the counter seats were vacant, I refused to let the second person waiting alone, so I turned down the first two people waiting. I thought I should let the second person go through the counter. The location is good and it's delicious and crowded, so I don't think it's a place to relax with udon noodles. It was a feast.
