Delicious udon and tempura near Yoyogi koen, in a lovely retro setting with lots of manga and anime toys and posters. Be careful, it's closed on weekends!

Delicious udon for a reasonable price! The portions are generous so I would recommend the small size or splitting with someone if you aren't super hungry. Also try their tempura. There is always a line at noon, so come early if you don't want to wait long.
