Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan｜Fujiya

I went to Fujiya, a set meal restaurant located near Hachioji Station from Oiwake Crossing, about a 12 minute walk from Nishi-Hachioji Station, just before 12 o'clock. There were already two single salaried workers in the store, where the seats were partitioned off to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, and a group of five customers came later, so almost 70% of the seats were occupied. I'm alone so I sit at the counter. I looked at the menu and asked for omelet rice for 900 yen including tax. After 7 or 8 minutes, the omelet rice was served on a large plate with a spoon wrapped in a paper napkin. Fukujinzuke and parsley are included as garnishes. Now, take out the spoon from the paper napkin and eat it. The well-cooked egg skin, chicken rice, and ketchup go well together. It contains finely chopped chicken, and the chicken rice itself is well seasoned.It's bigger and has more ketchup than I expected based on the information beforehand, and above all, the chicken rice is delicious. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had the pork saute and it was very delicious. I would like to try other challenges.

Fried rice is delicious! It has a nice retro feel!
