Fresh and tasty udon! We stumbled upon this udon restaurant and we were greatly surprised by the freshness and quality food we were served. I chose the cold dipping udon with chicken and vegetable tempura : their noodles were thick and very chewy mainly due to the fact that they make it right in front of you. Their portion is also generous so I couldn’t finish the whole dish but I would definitely come back to try the other udon they offer. Bonus : they have a clear English menu and their staff are also welcoming.

We had to wait outside like 20 minutes, but the food was delicious and the service great! They have an English menu. The portions are generous, but you can ask for a doggy bag for 100¥

There was a short line outside of the restaurant at lunch time but it moved fairly fast. There’s an English menu available, so ask for that if you’re Japanese language challenged. You can see them making the noodles fresh while you’re waiting in line, and it’s a fascinating process. Noodles are bouncy and chewy, soup is tasty and not too salty. I ordered the seafood tempura set and regret I hadn’t added on a few more items coz it was yummy. Staff are friendly and efficient. But it’s a tight space and expect to leave after you’re done.
