Very cozy atmosphere and super friendly service. I understand no Japanese and they were so patient with me. Everything tasted fresh and authentic! Highly recommended. 5 course meal for $2 200 yen for lunch.

A place where you can enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine. This restaurante opened in 2019, so quite a new place. The chef looked young but I saw beautiful and careful works he's done. Japanese cooking requires a lot of time-consuming preparations before they are placed on a plate and seen by the guest. They change course menu according to the season. When we visited, there were fried tampura corn & sillago. Sashimi of barracuda and Japanese horse mackarel, eating with special source. Soup is sea red bream in cram soup. Um, yammy..! You know or not Japanese cram soup is tasty. Chef's Masterpiece. Main dish is grilled Beryx splendens coming with sea urchin on top..! Sea urchin should be fresh as it didn't have a strong smell. They said it's from Hokkaido. Another dish is Ebi shinjo. It's hard to explain. They mince fresh shrimp(ebi) meat and mix with flour and salt etc, and then fry it. The last dish is hand-made udon noodle. Hand-made is more chewy. Topping was shaved dried bortago, one of typical Japanese preservative fish. Dessert was also hand-made. Anko (sweet red beans paste) with cream cheese spring roll with ice cream. The price is reasonable, considering the location, at some 7000 JPY to 15000 JPY ish. Walking distance from the subway station nearby. コース料理を頼みました!季節によってメニューが変わるようです。 一品目、とうもろこしとキスのフライ。 お刺身はかますとしまあじ。脂が乗っていておいしいです。かますは白ポン酢につけて食べます。 椀物は鯛ですが、蛤の出汁がしっかり出ていて、おいしかったですねー。 焼物はキンメにウニが乗ってました!ウニは臭くなく、どこ産かと思ったら北海道産でした。 海老真薯は手作りだそうで、中まで味がしみて美味しかったです。 シメのうどんがこれまたおいしかったですよ。専用で打ってもらってるそうです。カラスミうどんなんて初めて食べました。 デザートも手作り。おいしかったです。

A five-minute walk from our hotel turned into a very pleasant introduction to kaiseki. Highly recommended for first-time visitors to Tokyo. Exceptional service and care despite the language barrier.
