I stumbled to this place by accident on my first night in Tokyo and had to come back before leaving for home again. The tonton udon was simply amazing. The only place I visited more than once on my trip. (The staff doesn't speak English but they have a simplified English menu available.)

The best udon I have ever tasted so far.

If you like thick tantan noodles, try it at least once. Burdock is also delicious, but chilled tantanmen is the only choice. Thin udon noodles that are entwined with a very rich soup. Excellent. I've loved it ever since my old gourmet uncle told me about it.
