Quick and quiet place to get some tempura and udon.

We were looking for a quick lunch place without wanting to spend a lot. We were lucky enough to pass by this place. The employees don't speak a lot of English I think, but they are very happy to help you and have a menu with pictures you can point to for selection - then choose small or medium bowl. My husband had a beef and egg noodle bowl (not as spicy as he was expecting or warned about). I had a salad bowl with chilled noodles-delicious!

The fried foods at the start of the line (while getting a food tray) are such mood-setters! They look so delicious we got 2 kinds. For improvement, they could be served hotter but wow they were delicious! Udon's serving time is amazing; they prepare it for you while you're still in line. Considering the kind of food they serve, this is really fast food we're taking about here! The texture of the noodles were perfectly chewy and fun to bite through. All the ingredients in one word is.. Harmonious! Condiments and water are self-service. Add "tempura crumbs" to your udon! (I don't know what they're really called. Gomen nasai!) Clean as you go. :)
