Man... This is Tempura when a chef is serious about Tempura. It's just a small single seating restaurant. But damn good tempura. I ordered the Ebi Tempura set for 1700 Yen. After watching them cook, they serve the set with just half of the items. You're supposed to eat them while they're hot and crispy. Before you finish your half, they bring the other half of your set. When they were serving the tofu tempura, the waitress broke these chain-like tofu tempura. She told the cook that it was not good and they served me an extra one. And this tofu tempura tastes like shrimp meatballs. So good.

my boyfriend got one with eel for 1800Y. cute little shop we happened to stumble upon and my gosh were we lucky. food is so good and it is SO cheap compared to what we pay in other countries!! Paid 1300Y for a normal tempura set while the menu is in English!!! just a note that the tempura in my picture was not all of it, they come out in batches and that was just the first round :))

A must-try experience! We got the tempura with rice and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, with the ability to watch your dishes get prepared, and we waited about 45 minutes at 7pm on a Friday but was served our dish almost immediately after being seated. The amount of food with the side dishes, miso soup, rice, and tempura, make for a great value for money.
