The menu only includes grilled fish, fried horse mackerel, boiled fish, and sashimi set meals for lunch and dinner. We are particular about purchasing fish from fishing networks rather than using farmed fish. From the main dish to the side dishes, miso soup, and rice, nothing is cut short and it's truly heartwarming and delicious. Although it is handmade, it is technically far superior to cafe rice. Of course, fried horse mackerel is not simply fried frozen food, but is prepared and deep-fried. The salad under the fried horse mackerel is hearty and healthy, using more than 10 types of vegetables such as watercress, celery, komatsuna mustard, and radishes. The miso soup is full of lotus root and is the perfect miso soup to eat. The stew of taro and snap peas, ohitashi of komatsuna flower, and pickled vegetables are also irresistibly delicious. I came here aiming for rice cooked with bamboo shoots, but this time it was rice cooked with burdock root, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms. Looks like it was a little early for bamboo shoots. I would like to visit again when the bamboo shoots are about to appear.
