I quite like everything on the menu!

I visited Ramen Shop Jon. My family has been there several times, but this was my first time having it. The small shop only has counter seats, so you can watch the owner prepare the ramen right in front of you, and the steam from the pot used to boil the noodles creates a nice atmosphere. The ``Niboshi Ramen'' had a mild and easy-to-drink soup made from dried sardines. (After eating the noodles, I tried adding dried sardines, lemon and apple cider vinegar to change the taste, but personally, it tasted better without it. (^o^;)) The ``Soy Sauce Ramen'' had a very mild soup that was completely different from its appearance. After that, the thin noodles were perfectly cooked!! The ``char shu rice'' had three types of char shu on top, each with different characteristics, but all of them were tender meat. It was delicious with a gentle seasoning. I was also impressed by the cheerful greeting from the owner as I was leaving. ……………………………………………………………………………………… Monday, September 18, 2023 It was hot, so I ordered ``kelp water tsukemen.'' Because the noodles are soaked in kelp water, they can be slippery, so they provided disposable chopsticks. There was a paper posted on the wall with instructions on how to eat the tsukemen, so we dipped them in salt before dipping them in the dipping sauce. It feels like you can enjoy the deliciousness and texture of noodles in a simple way. You can choose the dipping sauce from ``dried sardines, soy sauce, or salt'', and I ordered the soy sauce flavor. The dipping sauce was rich in chicken stock, but it was light. The instructions said to use the remaining kelp water after eating the noodles to make soup, but there wasn't enough left to make soup, so I gave up. (^〜^;)ゞ Thank you for the meal today!! So far, I've had dried sardines ramen, soy sauce ramen, and kelp water tsukemen, and the soup is delicious, but I like John's way of boiling the noodles the most!!

Special dried sardines ramen char siu rice The soup looks refreshing at first glance, but the impact and aftertaste of dried sardines is wonderful! Straight noodles that are crisp and strong with a strong wheat flavor! The chashu rice was also delicious! !
