More Comments at Google MapRicky’s Diner is a wonderful local burger shop. Their burgers are made quickly (ready within 10-15 minutes from time of order) and to high quality. Ingredients are fresh and sauces seem to be made from scratch, instead of using bottled sauces. The hand-drawn notes on the packaging are a nice personal touch. Best of all these burgers are still easy to eat. Many recent burger shops focus on presentation, making crazy, tall burgers that look great for Instagram, but are impossible to eat. Ricky’s burgers may not be the most beautiful, but they are flavourful and you can eat them without a fork & knife. Visitors from outside the neighbourhood might be disappointed that they are take-out only, but we think it’s a great local spot. We’re very glad to have Ricky’s Diner nearby.
MUST TRY! The outside reminds me of a San Diego beach side restaurant. Inside smells like wonderful meat and grease which is a welcoming aroma. The meat is mega tasty. The fat tomato and crunchy lettuce are perfect. The folded beacon added a hint of saltiness. The bun held all the delicious ingredients inside like a pro wrestlers head lock. The thick onion ring was a nice touch. The 1st bite is the hardest. It's super messy to eat. My 1st taste of the fat and juicy burger happily teleported me back to San Diego. Reminded me of In and Out burger or Mean Gene's. I used to eat burgers 6 days a week. The 7th day was tacos. Thank you, Ricky, for a fully satisfied stomach. No pictures because I ate it!
My boys and I are always on the hunt for no-nonsense, real-deal, delicious burgers. We found Ricky's Diner and we are very happy! The burgers are excellent, the sauces are perfect, and the people are gracious and friendly. The handwritten note on the box feels good, and every detail of the experience seemed to communicate "we care." I'm happy to have a true local treasure in our neighborhood and wish Ricky's Diner the best success!
