As an expat i tried Ochazuke for the first time. I thought Ochazuke was a bowl of white rice mixed with some kind of tea but it turned out to be way more. Meat, veggies, rice, and salted roe(?) is decently served in one bowl. After eating half, pour the soup and mix it well with the leftover. I poured too much soup and it got a little salty but still tastes very good. Having suffered from fatigue and indigestion for some days, i could get stomach comfort.

Good little cafe to try some traditional japanese style rice + soup breakfast. Great price and portion.

We loved this ochazuke place! Super healthy tea rice options here! They also provide bubu arare (puffed rice), seaweed and pickles for your meal. It’s also very affordable with meals starting from 1100yen up ! Want to go back again!
