Wow, where do I even begin. The food here is just AMAZING. I can see why this 100% vegan izakaya is extremely popular! Came with my partner who’s not vegan/vegetarian but who also thoroughly the meal. Wait: On the first day we came at about 8.30pm and they were not accepting any more customers because it was full, though it closes at 10. Came back the next day at about 6.30pm, and had to wait close to half an hour to get in. Both days were weekdays, so the line would probably be longer on a weekend. Do come earlier. You gotta write down your name on the piece of paper outside the entrance and wait your turn as well. Food: Most of the dishes are fried, but even then it’s not too oily and greasy. Must-try dishes: - Karaage (you get to choose from various sauces. We went with teriyaki and it was YUMZ) - Deep fried maitake (ok this blew my mind and was quite possibly the highlight of the meal)

We absolutely love this amazing gem! When I moved to Tokyo last year, I felt that because I was vegetarian, I would never get to really enjoy the experience of a true Japanese Izakaya. However, this place has happily changed that opinion of mine. First off, it is in a super cool location in Shibuya and it's super easy to find! What is more, the ordering system is all done by QR code, which makes it so very simple to order and know exactly what you are getting. To add to that, the staff are always so kind and very friendly! They no fail will always ask me how I enjoyed my meal, which is so very much appreciated, to say the least😊 And last, but certainly not least, all of the dishes are absolutely delicious. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu as everything is super, super tasty. I would 110% definitely recommend this amazing gem to anyone who wants to experience the real feel of a Japanese Izakaya, while at the same time getting to eat delicious vegan food! This location had the juiciest mock meats. I was very pleased with the menu, many options for vegetarians and vegans. I went during the week and was seated right away I didn’t have to wait.
