Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan｜Trader Vic's Tokyo

My friend is a tiki fiend and this place was on his bucket list for our visit to Tokyo. The bar is on the 4th floor of the hotel building and, when entering, you leave modern Japan and enter a kitsch tiki world. The bar commits to the theme and it's tiki top-to-bottom, "enhanced" with Halloween decorations while we were there. It's a fun place! We were looked after wonderfully. We enjoyed happy hour cocktails until 7pm and some appetizers. The food is basic and just ok. The drinks are the highlight. There are Trader Vic's tchotchkes for sale and we were able to buy a menu for my friend to take home. Worth the visit.

Great cocktails, nice atmosphere and welcoming and helpful staff. Food prices are a little elevated, but then again it's located in a hotel. Can recommend.

Hidden gem. Literally. One of the best bars I've been to in a long, long time. Drinks are sharp as a tack. Not heavy on the wallet either, especially during happy hour. Also also, they sell their own mugs and glassware! Definitely making this a go to spot whenever I'm in Tokyo.
