My wife and I went to Malay Fuko Bistro (馬來風光美食) yesterday. The visit started when I accidentally came across this restaurant’s “Curry Ayam” and “Curry Rendang” at 7-Eleven. I was very glad that I tried, the taste were simply amazing and authentic even for instant curry. Thus we decided to visit the restaurant the next day. The chef and owner, Elaine, is super friendly and her nyonya food we tried were top of its kind. This restaurant serve “omakse”, chef’s pick based on best ingredients available for the day. It is so far the best Malaysian Nyonya food I had tried outside of Malaysia. Chef Elaine can cook so many Malaysian food, Chinese, Malay and Indian styled Malaysian cuisine, as long as you can say it, she could most likely make it, highly recommend to check and make your request before visiting. As an expat living in Tokyo, this restaurant is certainly a gem, a great place that could satisfy Malaysian foodie like myself. Yesterday Omakase that we ordered include Nyonya style Nasi Lemak, Nyonya Otak Otak, Char Kuey Teow, Satay and dessert (Fresh Mango with sticky rice). All dishes were very delicious and I can feel each dishes was cooked with heart. We will surely revisit in very near future with friends. Highly recommend to reserve your appointment before going via instagram or call.

Very friendly owner, definitely can cure my craving for my home country's food. Will definitely visit again in the near future. Thank you Elaine for the Malaysian hospitality.
