I've been here over 30 times this year alone, and the mapo tofu is exquisite. The richness and aroma are wonderful. (And it was cheap) I went to another Chinese restaurant nearby on my day off, but it was so bad that I couldn't eat there. The shrimp chili egg fried rice is also recommended. Regular fried rice is delicious, but the addition of shrimp chili makes it feel overwhelmingly luxurious. Be careful as the green onions are strong. There are times when there are no people around, such as at night, and I think they probably don't go in because it looks like it's a high-end store (I was like that too), so I'm posting a support post because I don't want it to go out of business. Lunch near Nerima Station, which I often come to recently. The quality of lunch before work that uses your head is pretty important. Today, I went to Kyoran, a Chinese restaurant just a short walk from the station. In Ikebukuro and elsewhere, I often go to Sichuan restaurants that are half-Chinese and specialize in spicy dishes, but this is a Chinese restaurant that is firmly rooted in the city. I ordered black sweet and sour pork and rice. There is sweet and sour pork in the set meal menu, but it is not black vinegar but only normal red sweet and sour pork, so I dared to ask for it separately. At other restaurants, there is more batter than meat to give it a crispy texture, but here you can enjoy the texture of the thick meat. There is elasticity and I think that it is chicken. The sourness and sweetness of the black vinegar are tightly confined in the sweet bean paste, making it delicious. It doesn't look flashy, but I think it's very high quality. I want to try other menus, so I think I'll go through now.
