Amazing meal - we had the Fukugawa Meshi set and it was delicious for lunch. Staff didn’t speak English but were incredibly friendly and helpful and we would definitely come back!

Jun.2023 Visited on Sunday at 11:30 (opening time). I got in right away with 5 groups of waiting customers. The restaurant is spacious and didn't get full until around 13:00, so you can come slowly even on holidays. Ordered the Fukagawa-meshi set for 1,980 yen. I think the first fukagawa meal was good here. There is no smell of clams, and it is easy to understand, it is a delicious clam rice. The clams themselves are solid and delicious. The appearance is nice, the barley tea is poured as soon as it runs out, and the small bowls (on this day, cold boiled eggplants, vinegared kibinago and mozuku, pickled rice bran) are also delicious. It was good enough for even a woman who doesn't eat a lot. It seems that the price is increasing year by year, so if you have a budget, I think it would be better to check in advance.

Visit at noon after taking a walk in Kiyosumi Garden The nearest station is Morishita station, but it is also close from Kiyosumi-shirakawa station. Appearance full of long-established store interior, only small raised seats Ordered Fukagawa-meshi and tempura set, 2970 yen It was my first time eating Fukagawa-meshi, but it was delicious. The tempura is also crispy and delicious! The clerk's attention was also warm 😌 The price is not very affordable for me, but I definitely want to come back to eat Fukagawa-meshi at this restaurant.
