Arakawa City, Tokyo, Japan｜名物みそかつ とん国

I passed by it a few times when I was out shopping. When I passed by at noon, I went in quite early to eat the Tokoru set meal. The quantity is consistent with the price, and the taste is average. Although you have to wait a little longer, eating freshly fried とんかつ in the store is more delicious than taking it home. While eating, I heard the boss chatting with other guests. "やめるの简単だよ。 I feel healed. The store is very, very, very Showa. It seems that the store has been open for nearly fifty years. Although my Japanese is not very good, I seemed to understand the boss who said that he is the first to make miso karaage in Tokyo.

Such a quaint little place with the kindest old man running the restaurant. The food was AMAZING and not overly greasy. The best authentic Japanese dining experience I’ve had out of my three weeks in Japan so far.

I used to live in Nagoya, the home of miso-katsu. A lot of folks said "you can't get proper miso-katsu in Tokyo".... and they're wrong, you can get it here. :) It's the fully authentic flavor, everything I missed, it's here.
