More Comments at Google MapIf you go south for about 200 meters towards Tabata on Odai-dori Street, which crosses north-south next to Odai Station on the Toden Arakawa Line, you will find Kaoroya at the entrance of the Y-junction on the left. The bright interior of the store is clean and very clean. In addition to the counter seats, there are many table seats, and it seems that the restaurant is open in the evenings. Today, I ordered the "mixed set meal" (1,000 yen) of fried chicken and lamb. It comes with rice, miso soup, a small side dish, and pickles, and a large serving of rice is free. In addition, coffee or juice drinks are included at lunch. Of course, I had a large bowl of rice and ordered an iced coffee after the meal. As you can see, it is a hearty lunch. The lamb meat is very tender and juicy, similar to Genghis Khan. The large fried chicken has a piping hot ginger flavor and is also delicious. It has plenty of cabbage vegetables and goes perfectly with fried chicken. After eating all this, and even having an iced coffee after the meal...I'm already very satisfied. The beautiful mom is very friendly and seems to have many regular customers. I thought it was unusual that there were so many lamb dishes, but I was surprised to learn that the owner is from Hokkaido. I look forward to using your service again in the future. In addition, payment with PayPay was also supported.
(Ramen is not on the menu as of September 2022) Open for lunch, they have set meals (my personal favorites are the lamb and hokke fries) and curry. It comes with a small side dish and a drink for around 1,000 yen, and it's a good deal as it's voluminous. I think the taste is normal to well seasoned. The consistency of white rice is normal to soft. It's not on the menu now, but the ramen made by the husband from Hokkaido (Asahikawa) (the noodles are Kato Seimen's curly noodles!!) was really delicious, so I'm secretly hoping it will come back. I'm from Hokkaido and have worked at a local ramen shop for several years, and I think all the ramen was pretty good (though I have my own preferences). We support you in the future!
I finally got it. You won't get bored with the homely atmosphere and clean interior and the large monitor TV. Crisp and juicy fried chicken, super delicious. I wonder if the lamb is also raw lamb. It's delicious. Beautiful shredded cabbage was also fresh and great. Nishiogu's restaurant level is high!
