More Comments at Google MapThis place is the best place to get a true Bengali household experience. I’m a Bengali from Kolkata and the food tastes like real homemade food. I ambiance is so pretty! I went there during Durga Puja so I could see Maa Durga too and besides that, the lady who serves the food is a great and friendly person. I’ve read other comments by Japanese people that complain about the environment being “talkative “ but no, that’s how it works in India. We love talking and interacting with people even if it’s someone that we don’t know. So if you’re a Bengali /Indian or someone who would like to experience a true Bengali dining, you must visit it!
This restaurant run by Indian, Bengal lady. Both husband and wife prepare the food. I feel this is the best place to eat the authentic Bengali food in Tokyo. The downside of the restaurant is the price range. All items are expensive. The best part is that they have full ma Durga set. So if you are religious, maybe you get emotional to the place. Food are 10/10 and services. She can speak in Bengali and also other languages. Its a fun place with friends and family.
One would definitely have positive vibes on entering the restaurant. The owner welcomed very sweetly and made us to feel as home , it’s very rare to find authentic Bengali food with good classical music . Since we were two , she had suggested to go with thali and another curry with either poori or rice. Pretty satisfied with the taste which reminded us what served in India . In short, it’s must to go restaurant to relish the fingerlicking food with a satisfied heart .
