Sumida City, Tokyo, Japan｜Haikara-ken

A precious restaurant where you can eat grilled curry in the Kanto region. The owner is friendly and you can eat comfortably. I don't know what other people think, but it's a restaurant where I can feel the nostalgia of home and a sense of security. On my first visit, I had grilled curry, and on my second visit, I had Haikara curry and Neapolitan. All are generally good.

Grilled curry is the signboard menu. Huff and eat the piping hot curry. The curry is not spicy, so even children can eat it without worry. (I like to add Tabasco.) Napolitan is chewy and often entwined with ketchup with a strong taste. There are table seats in the back room. This table is slightly lower than the chair for some reason (If you ask me, I heard that they intentionally made it lower so that even children can eat it. The photo is the specialty grilled curry M size ¥700 L is a little too much, so I think M is enough for normal adults. Lunch is crowded after 12:00, so come early.

Used for lunch, Neapolitan set. For lunch, you can drink coffee for 100 yen, so coffee too. The Neapolitan side is flat and thick, chewy and delicious. Enough volume. Coffee is also delicious. I was very satisfied. My wife who went with me had a small grilled curry and a set lunch and it was quite a volume. It was a shop that sold grilled curry, so I tasted it, and it was a delicious curry. This is a store I would like to use again.
