Were staying in the area and found this tiny Ramen spot. We were very pleased with our meal. The char siu was grilled before being placed in the Ramen, so tender and delicious! Great restaurant!

I keep coming back here because it is so good. A short walk from Motoyawata Station. Don’t miss out.

R5 Visited around 11:30 on 10/8. When you enter the store, you will see a chabudai in the tatami room. I was told to take a seat of my choice, so I chose a tatami-style seat without hesitation. I ordered the Soy Sauce Special Ramen Koikuchi from the menu and waited for a while. The kettle on the tea table has a retro Showa era atmosphere. There seems to be rooibos tea in the kettle. I like it, but our tastes differ. After a while, the chashu began to be grilled on the charcoal grill on the counter seat. It looks really delicious. The ramen arrived soon. The soup looks thick and I'm a bit worried. Now let's eat. First of all, starting with the soup, the salty flavor was softer than I expected, but it was rich. The char siu was nicely seared, and the charred part went well with the soup. I also like the taste of the noodles. I had a bite of the recommended miso ramen soup that my companion ordered, and it had a gentle miso flavor. However, next time I'm thinking of ordering a lighter version of soy sauce.
