Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan｜中華麺工房 男爵

The food was amazing and the staff friendly. I was a bit scared to walk in at first as I do not understand Japanese but it went well and i ate great food, even though I had to guess and choose just by the pictures. Will go again.

After exiting the south exit of JR Ichikawa Station, if you go to the left, there are several restaurants lined up and there is a shop in the corner. This shop has been around for a long time in Ichikawa. When you enter the shop, there is a counter on your right and a table on your left. It is not a ticket machine, but a form to order after arriving at the seat. There were many menus on the menu table, but I chose Baron Ramen and Gyoza (small size) with the name of the shop. Baron Ramen looks simple and has 3 slices of char siu and Naruto. Kaiware radish is a good accent. The soup seemed to be simple, but it was delicious with a moderate taste. Of course it was delicious as it was, but I added vinegar in the middle to change the taste and enjoy it. I entered the store around 11:30, but customers kept coming in while I was waiting and eating. There were many surrounding office workers and local elderly people. And a little surprise at the size of one gyoza. The menu is certainly big as it says that it is 2 to 3 normal. Both texture and taste are good. Thank you for the meal.

It is conveniently located and is well used. The store clerk has a good feeling and it is comfortable. I really liked the creamy soup of the green onion tonkotsu ramen. There is no strange smell and it is delicious! You can choose medium thin noodles or thick noodles. Hiyoko Ramen was a delicious and easy-to-eat ramen! I don't feel like I'm in the mood for something heavy, but I want to eat ramen... I thought it was just the right ramen. It seems that it is possible to order half the amount of noodles because the original amount is large. Also, half rice was about the size of a bowl of rice, so if you're not confident about your stomach and want to eat both ramen and rice, it might be a good idea to reduce the amount of ramen...? Compared to other ramen shops, I have the impression that the amount of ramen and rice is large, so when I'm not hungry, I don't go in carelessly. It's also nice that they stay late at night...!
