I don't think so. Noodles that are boiled to just the right degree of softness blend easily with the soup, and the noodles themselves are flavorful and delicious to the last bite. However, if the noodles have no waist and are broken and stretched, this is an exception and out of the question. I don't know what Hoshinoie's intentions are in making soft noodles, but as far as I can tell, the noodles are delicious even if they are soft. The person who left when I took a seat had all the soup and toppings gone, and for some reason only the noodles were left in the bowl 😱 I'm sure he didn't like soft noodles, but still... The shop is located at the end of a back alley, but there is a parking lot for about 10 cars along the stream in front of it. The signboard for the store in the parking lot has fallen off due to age, but at first glance, the parking lot for Hoshi no Ie looks like a monthly parking lot.
