Ome, Tokyo, Japan｜Ramen Itsuki

I have drove by many times and seen this place with a line out the door. Today I decided that I would give it a try. I had the shrimp tsukemen special that has extra chasu and a seasoned egg. Now to the flavor. Growing up with a Cajun mother we regularly had seafood gumbo. This tsukemen had notes of roux with the first taste, that made me think of gumbo. The flavors blended well with the noodles that I think we're buckwheat, they were delicious. I will go back and try the sea bream tsukemen special.
