This local ramen restaurant specializes in spicy ramen. BY spicy, we mean dragon breath spicy if you choose the highest level. They do offer other types of ramen, but why not try what they are famous for? The restaurant is counter style and very small with seating for only about 15 people at once. The wait time was about 10 minutes to get a seat. The decore is a bit off with cheesy red tiled walls, black carpet and a white countertop but it is only a ramen shop so it's fine. The staff were excellent! They were highly energetic and were clearly happy to be working despite the busy crowd. Though, they did speak a little English it wouldn't have been enough to know what to order. So If you don't speak Japanese, take a friend! I ordered the 5 item ramen at spice level 6 (photo) it was excellent! The price was 880 yen for a giant bowl. The spice had real depth to it and the flavor went perfectly with the vegetables, eggs, and meat! If you like spicy food and don't mind the crowded atmosphere, Check out Mouko-Tanmen.

I love this place :D the food is amazing!!! If you like spicy food you should definitely give this a try!
