Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan｜横浜家系ラーメン つばさ家 立川店

I was waiting this moment to have this ramen restaurant, I was right. It’s just great IEK(shoyu Tonkatsu) ramen. The restaurant doesn’t have table seat only at the counter. I wanna come by again definitely.

Taste-wise, this is straight up the best ramen in Tachikawa. The broth is thick and rich, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings (including and especially the egg) are on point. This is the ideal back-alley ramen stop for your heart warming needs. Come here drunk, come here sober, come here wanting a homely side of Japan that you don't get in the busy mainstream areas of Japan. My only negative (which i refuse to take away a star for) is that it is so heavy that it hurts my stomach within literally a minute of walking away - chalk that up to my weak American stomach though.

I live in 立川 and this is my top choice for ramen. Generous amount of toppings, delicious charsiu, very nice broth, ample cold tea, all for under 千円。It's small, but has a nice ramen shop vibe.
