It is located about 5 minutes walk from Takanodai Station. There are many delicious-looking shops in the Takanodai Ekimae shopping street, but I decided to visit Marua, which has an aura of mystery to it. (The frosted glass prevents you from seeing inside the store, so it's hard to tell if it's open or not.) It used to be located a little further back from the shopping street, but it seems that it was moved to its current location a few years ago. There were only 4 counter seats and 2 table seats inside the store, so I waited outside for just a few minutes. This time I ordered chashu noodles. The noodles were homemade medium-thin curly noodles with a chewy texture, and the boiling was a little hard for my liking. The soup is mainly made from a mildly fragrant seafood stock, so there is no odor at all, and the kaeshi is a little thin, so the flavor of the soup stands out even more. On the other hand, if you're used to Iekei or Jiro-kei, you might not be satisfied with it, but I think it's perfect for people who like traditional Chinese noodles. The deliciousness of the soup filled my hungry stomach, and the texture of the noodles made the ramen even more satisfying. The grilled pork had little fat and the aroma of the meat was palpable. The overall ramen is well-balanced and is the best.

Ramen shop in town I had come here before before the move and remembered the delicious ramen with soy sauce, so I came here for the first time after the move. This store has been closed for a while due to the coronavirus. Order char siu noodles I don't have pepper or anything. As expected, the soup is clear, but the flavor of dried sardines is quite strong. The noodles were medium thick, curly, chewy and delicious.
