More Comments at Google MapAs others have said, this is very similar to ramen jiro, so if you’re in the mood, you’re gonna be satisfied. The thing I like about it is you can do the soupless version, which is what I was excited about. I was not disappointed. The pork and bean sprouts and noodles were all familiar, but getting to add vinegar to the dish added a new taste for me. But I would highly recommend getting the regular sized portion. Despite the warnings, I went with the big size and it was soooooooo much. Service was fast and friendly.
The egg is 30 seconds too much boiled. That's it. Everything else is perfect, for a ramen shop. It's cheap, quick, you get a lot of food in volume, like, a lot, enough so that I recommend not to order the big portion if it's your first time there, and it's tasteful. The broth tends to be on the salty side, and if you usually order noodles hard because you eat slowly like me and you don't want them become mud, you'll get actually hard noodles. The amount of meat (really soft, tasty home made sliced marinated pork) served is huge. You can choose the amount of garlic, soy bean sprout, depth of the broth flavor (careful with this one, they are not kidding), and fat. The rest is pure ramen shop style, white walls, a dozen seats counter, open kitchen, plastic boots, young guys cooking and serving customers queuing outside, vending machine for the tickets you exchange for food. No fancy lights, no exotic options in the menu, no unwanted profit margin. You pay for what you get, and boy, you do get it. Done.
Shou is not shou haha
