Shimakitazawa fantastic food. Thanks you. Staff were very helpful. To eat out for 5 of us under 5000 yen is good value in my books compared to Australia.

We had a stroller, but were shown to our table without any disapproval. The owner was very friendly and served us in English. Very good ramen, both soy sauce and salt flavors are nice one. The chashu (pork) bowl was also delicious.

[Calling salt ramen "Pearl" is a bit of a stretch, but it's just that delicious.] Visited around 18:30 on 2023/02/15 The soy sauce ramen at the Tachikawa store was also very delicious, so I wanted to try it at the Musashi-Koyama store as well. 【directions】 ・From Musashi-Koyama Station, take the west exit and go straight. About 6-7 minutes walk. It's located in a residential area. ・Compared to the side where the Palm shopping street is, this area is deserted and lonely. Once you have bought your ticket, take a seat and place it on the counter. ・If it's crowded, you'll probably have to wait outside, but if it's empty, you can sit wherever you like. [Shop atmosphere] ・It feels like a small ramen shop. There are around 8 seats at the counter only. It's sufficient, but each seat isn't that spacious. It's located in a place where there aren't many people around, so it might take some courage for a woman to come all the way here by herself. ・When I was there, it was a one-off operation for the store manager. Therefore, it will take some time to be delivered. It took 10 minutes. [Pearl] ・¥790 ・I think the price is very reasonable. ・Soup...sweet and salty salt! It is a feeling. And seafood soup, especially dried sardines. It may not be enough for those who want a strong taste of dried sardines, but it has a good balance that can be described as pearly. ・However, the soup is quite hot, probably due to the oil film. ・Noodles...thin and straight. Mix the soup well. ・Charshu...I guess this is also intentionally burnt. It's fragrant and goes well with soup.
