More Comments at Google MapOne of the best ramen shops in tokyo, went in August for the limited tsukemen (dipping noodles) and will go back for the ramen. The shop posts daily on social media about their opening times, days off and sold out status. I’d recommend checking the night before going, because this shop requires to line up early. - at around 9:30 in the morning (many times earlier if the lines are too long- GO AROUND NINE AM) the shop open for reserving times slots. They work usually from 11:30 to 15hr and after lining up in the morning you can reserve a time to eat during this time window. - you have to go 10minutes earlier then, of the time you reserved and wait to be called in. - you choose your meal from the ticket machine like most ramen shops, it’s in Japanese but the staff speaks English. - also pay attention to the shop rules like only one serving per person and no entrance with perfumes or cologne. But totally worth it, the food was amazing so rich in flavor and detail and the staff was just lovely. Also being a place run by people with a foot on the music industry, it does deliver on the beats (ambient music lol). We chose the shoyu (soy sauce) base soup which has lots of mushrooms, meat and aromatics. The meat is cooked to perfection as the rest of the dish…there’s nothing much to say it’s really good and worth the wait. Choose the option for your dish that comes with a little bit of all the toppings (特上).
I ordered the special shoyu ramen and had to say this is by far the best shoyu ramen I’ve had. The variety in chashu, the yuzu flavored wonton and the noodle…too good to be true. Arrived at the restaurant around 8:40am and there was 4 people in line already. Waited until 9:20 when they took out the sign-in sheet and got the 11:45 spot. Came back around 11:30 and was seated around 11:40 so was very efficient. The waitress was super friendly and guided me through how to order since I don’t understand Japanese. You had to find something to do while waiting for your time slot, but it’s all worth it after your first sip of the soup, perfect combination of the chicken oil and the shoyu flavor.
I like ramen and this ramen is worth loving. My dude Scott Popular took me here and he deserves a metal. Actually the real metal should be the chef. He is probably a super genius of flavor. Anyway go here. You might just call me and thank me afterwards. Then again that would be strange because we don't know each other. So yeah.
