A colleague recommended this shop and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The signature tsukemen is wonderfully balanced. Rich as expected but not overly so with flavours accentuated by freshly shaved bonito, onion, and what I thought might be a hint of yuzu. The slow-cooked pork confit is especially delicious. The owner is very welcoming and speaks excellent English which is not common in this part of town. I look forward to returning for their special miso bowl. Highly recommended!
This has become one of my favourite ramen restaurants and it's a joy to finish ever bowl! (I think) their soup stock is made with katsuoboshi (bonito) and has an amazingly unique flavour. They serve a limited amount of a special extra thick ramen every day which is really delicious, very moreish and is definitely my recommended choice. They also serve a really thick tsukemen (dipping noodles) and abura-soba (noodles and toppings with hot flavored oil and vinegar that you mix together). Chilli powder, black pepper, seaweed vinegar and smoked tabasco sauce are available as condiments.
