The area around Nakano Station has also become a ramen battleground. In the past, there weren't that many ramen shops, but there were a few that I liked. Many of those ramen shops have already disappeared. Among these, Taishoken has been around for a long time. The first time I visited was probably over 30 years ago. The store remains the same. As expected, there are many ramen shops around. Taishoken here is famous for its Tsukesoba. This seems to be the birthplace of Tsukesoba. I visited for the first time in several decades. The atmosphere of the store has probably changed a lot. Order on a tablet. I had planned to eat Tsukesoba from the beginning, so I ordered a large serving of Tsukesoba. I got the impression that the tsukesoba noodles here were quite thick. It takes time to boil. The noodles in the bowl were not as thick as I expected. The amount is just right. Finally, I added some broth and drank the soup. I still want to eat simple ramen like this.
A long-awaited visit to the birthplace of tsukemen. I had dike soba with meat. For this price, you get plenty of shredded pork, seasoned eggs, menma, and seaweed. The sweet and spicy dipping sauce and Tsurushiko noodles were amazing. You have to come and try the ramen too!
