Interesting approach to ramen. At the time I was staying in Tokyo my favourite ramen with grounded pork and kind of a peanut sauce. Ultra spicy, but very very tasty. The prices vary from 850¥ up to 1500¥. Definitely give it a try!

I used it during my break at work. This is a restaurant famous for its tsukemen, located in a small restaurant area of ​​HOPE Shokudo, which is directly connected to Ikebukuro Station. I've been curious about it for years now, and although I have had the opportunity to go to Ikebukuro from time to time, there was a long line at the store every time I tried to go, and I couldn't bring myself to wait in line, so I couldn't take advantage of it. However, I was finally able to use it this time. I bought a ticket for the special tsukemen noodles from the ticket machine at the store, and took a seat at an empty counter seat. Inside the store, there were mainly counter seats, but there were also some table seats. I think it was because it was quite crowded that we waited about 8 to 10 minutes before it was served. I ordered the regular size noodles, but they were a little thick, so I felt like there was quite a bit of volume. The thick, chewy noodles coat the soup well and feel good going down your throat. The soup has a strong scent of bonito flakes and has a slightly rich impression. The roasted pork belly fell apart easily and had a lot of flavor. Since it's a popular restaurant, I had high expectations, but the taste easily overcame those expectations. The staff were courteous even though they were busy, and the counter seats were surprisingly comfortable and I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. Thank you for the meal.
