Kita City, Tokyo, Japan｜Ramen Honda

A new twist on a traditional dish. The Ramen noodles was thick and chewy, very delicious. Also vegetables and meat was definitely not lacking. The pork belly they served was twice as thick as usual and very tender and easy to eat. Probably the best ramen experience I have had in Japan so far. Highly recommend!

A few mins walk from Higashi-Jujo (Keihin Tohoku line). Went on a random Oct Sat night around 7 pm. Waited in line for maybe an hour! Was very much worth it though. Pictured is their take on Jiro style ramen. Plenty bean sprouts and garlic. The soup was 5star. The pork was too good. The noodles were the best. Will revisit for sure.

Dinner 18:00~ price ¥780~only cash is available I was in the queue and it took me a while to get in. They have various ramen noodles not only Jiro ramen. The pork chashu was so tender and melted in my mouth. I ordered normal size pork chashu ramen and it was quite big portion for me. You can get more sprouts, garlic and soy sauce as additional for free charge!
