Today I was completely and utterly slain by this ramen. Overestimated my hunger and underestimated the amount of food they can fit into a single bowl. It was a terrible, delicious mistake. The menu is pretty straightforward -- three sizes of noodle and three of pork. The "small" here is 250 grams of noodles, which most places would call at least a large. "Mini" is 125 and is probably what I should've had because the bowl is also piled high with bean sprouts and thick cuts of pork. And then there's the garlic. Oh man. So they ask how much you want and the normal scoop is like, I dunno, three or four cloves? It's a lot. And by the time you're down to the bottom of the bowl, the broth it's a garlic slurry that punches you in the face with every bite. Tl;dr a delicious monster that was twice as much food as I can comfortably eat.

I originally liked the inspired style more than the Jiro head office, and I've been going there once a week for about a year. As others have written, the melting condition of the pork is outstanding. Personally, I like the spicy garlic chives or green onions and the standard flavored egg as paid toppings, so I customize it. When you have room in your stomach, it's best to order rice and raw egg and pour soup over it to make TKG. It is difficult to walk a little from the station, but I think it is worth visiting even if you deduct that!
