Kawaguchi, Saitama, Japan｜Chinrai Nishiguchiten

Top 3 in my personal Chinrai ranking. Until now, Matsubushi was in first place and Ishioka in second place, but Nishikawaguchi's level here is high. The flavor of the chashu is incredible. I have only eaten stir-fried meat and vegetables, gyoza, miso ramen with charcuterie topping, and alcohol, but I have been to Chinrai for 40 years and have eaten and drank at Chinrai about 15 times! Personally, it's in my top 3. I would like to try various other menu items as well.

It's an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant. Satisfied with the quantity, taste, and price! These gyoza are very large and heavy, so it's difficult to hold them with chopsticks, but they are very delicious. It's big, so please be careful when eating it as the bean paste inside is piping hot. Also, the dumplings are heavy, so be careful not to drop them!

Perfect for an evening drink. 2 bowls of oolong high, 3 jumbo gyoza dumplings, miso char siu noodles for about 2000 yen. Both char siu and gyoza are big and very satisfying. I will use it again when I go to Nishikawaguchi.
